About The Event
The First Responder Charity Classic is more than a hockey game, it is a celebration of community, friendly rivalry, and giving back.
Following a successful inaugural event that brought approximately 750 fans to WinSport, Calgary Police Service and Calgary Firefighters will once again take to the ice in support of meaningful local causes.
Join us on Saturday, January 16, 2027, at WinSport Event Centre for an exciting afternoon of hockey, family-friendly entertainment, and community fundraising. Every ticket, sponsorship, and donation helps strengthen the impact of the event’s charitable partners.
Proceeds from the First Responder Charity Classic support three organizations making a meaningful difference in our community:
– Calgary Police Youth Foundation
– Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society
– Canadian Cancer Society
